Deborah is a bit of a media ‘hybrid,’ having honed her skills in media planning, negotiation and strategic placement to combine those skills with account management. She has a good understanding of the integration of marketing and media principals that provides an advantage, when evaluating media options and developing on-going marketing campaigns.

She’s got 30+ years of experience across a broad range of categories – entertainment, retail, business-to-business, fitness, finance, funeral services, education, automotive, healthcare non-profit, issue advocacy and political campaigns. Her media expertise includes broadcast tv and radio, digital display, audio and video, OTT, print, outdoor, email marketing and social – locally, regionally and nationally.

Deb is particularly strong in maximizing client media budgets through the negotiation of strategic alliances and partnerships. We think it is safe to say she has seen it all. She has worked on the media side, at a broadcast outlet; with Ad Agencies, as Media Director and Account Supervisor and on the client side, as in-house Marketing Director. She joins ROI after 26 years as a friendly ‘competitor’ and as founder and president of Schule Media & Marketing, Inc.

Deborah’s buying philosophy is to negotiate the best rates for media that will run, as ordered, while fostering respect on both sides of the negotiating table, and that, has helped to garner much added value and better media oversight.

She’s a ‘Media Shopper’ – gathering as much information about the product/service, along with the client’s marketing goals and budget parameters, utilizing available market research to understand the target – who they are, key attributes, media habits, shared interests, etc., and determines how most efficiently and effectively to reach the best prospects. This is the foundation of the media plan.

Utilizing strong interpersonal and analytic skills, Deborah has addressed marketing challenges by working collaboratively with team members to problem-solve and effectively develop and present programs that support diverse client interests. She is a good-humored and motivated team player who believes in mutual respect on all levels of business and to have fun while doing it.
